Jobs and Internships
Students intern and graduates land jobs in all areas of communication. More than 80 percent of 2012 graduates who responded to a recent survey report having a full-time job within four months of graduation. The school’s career services office can assist with all aspects of career preparation.

Specializations
Majors and specializations include advertising, broadcast & electronic journalism, business journalism, editing & graphic design, multimedia, photojournalism, public relations, reporting and strategic communication.

Special Undergraduate Programs
Special undergraduate programs include sports communication, Latino/a journalism and media and community media.

Scholarships and Awards
The school awards more than $300,000 annually in scholarships and other funding to current MJ-school students.

Study Abroad
The school offers study abroad exchanges in Australia, England, Spain, France, Argentina and Hong Kong. Students also have the opportunity for international experiences in Mexico and China.
