Sep. 06, 2017,
4:00 PM to 6:00 PM
Family Pleasants Room, Wilson Library

This discussion will explore what the First Amendment protects, what it does not protect, and how it applies in the setting of a public university. We will also discuss state laws and University policies that regulate First Amendment rights. Mark Merritt, Vice Chancellor and General Counsel, will help to facilitate the discussion on this important topic.

This event — sponsored by the University Office for Diversity & Inclusion — will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 6, from 4-6 p.m. in the Family Pleasants Room in Wilson Library.

More information can be found on the Office for Diversity and Inclusion's website.
